Typical Turnaround Times

Below is a list of our services and typical turnaround time you can expect for each project; dates are approximate and depend upon complexity of the project and approval process needed to advance it. Timeframes are updated frequently to reflect current workload and the changing turnaround times of our vendors. Updated 2/28/2024

Design Services

Design time may vary depending on the project complexity.

Developing new concept: 2-3 weeks
Reusing existing design: 1-2 weeks

Printing and Production

Production time is subject to vendor and availability of materials.
Production time may vary depending on the project complexity.
Printing time not applicable to “Digital Only” jobs.

Flyers (1 week*)
Brochures, 20 pages or less (2-3 weeks*)
Custom Sticker/Decals (2-3 weeks*)
A-Frame Panels (1-3 weeks**)
Custom Signage (1-2 months**)
Digital Display and Scheduling (1 week)

Photography and Videos

Video Production (1 month)
Photography photo processing (within 1 week of shoot date)

Social Media and Website

* Small quantity (500 or less)

** All Sign Shop production requires an additional processing time (2-3 weeks) for UCSD Facilities Management non-urgent requests. At this time, due to temporary lack of staffing until April, the typical turnaround time for sign production once processed is extended.
