UC San Diego Summer Intern Housing Program

Our top priority is the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff and visitors. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and associated governmental regulations, we are unable to accommodate groups on campus this summer. In addition, we will not be offering UC San Diego Check-inn, Guest Housing or Summer Intern Housing this summer.

For any clients looking to the future, we are offering the option to reserve space for next year as it is our hope to be up and running for the 2022 conference season.

We understand that you may have additional questions. We are available and happy to connect with you at your earliest convenience. Please send us an email at meetings@ucsd.edu. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Summer interns will receive a private, single occupancy bedroom in a shared apartment (max of 4 people per apartment).

Apartments include sizeable kitchens with full-sized appliances, a microwave, basic cookware, and flatware. Bedroom includes wardrobe (no hangers provided), dresser and desk. Complimentary Wi-Fi, on-site laundry facilities, weekly housekeeping of common areas, and trash removal are also included in your stay.

The Neighborhood

Summer intern housing is located in the Eleanor Roosevelt neighborhood located on the northwest part of campus. Buildings are organized around a series of large outdoor spaces, terraces, and promenades, allowing guests to enjoy San Diego’s temperate climate and create a sense of community. Meeting rooms and community lounges are all conveniently located nearby, as well as the RIMAC recreation facility. Torrey Pines State Beach/Natural Reserve and Torrey Pines Glider Port and Golf Course are just a short walk away.

Grocery stores such as Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and Ralphs are a short bus ride away if you prefer to prepare your own meals using the kitchen amenities included in your stay.
