Q: Where can I use my Triton Cash account?
Your Triton Cash account can be used at any of the 60+ locations that accept Triton Cash.
Q: Do I need to register for the Online Card Office?
Registering for the Online Card Office is optional. If you want to be able to access your account online or make online deposits to your Triton Cash account then you will have to register for the Online Card Office.
Q: What do I do if I lost my UC San Diego Campus ID Card?
If you lose your Campus ID Card, please contact our office at 858.534.7587 to have your account suspended as soon as possible. Alternatively, you can log in to the Online Card Office and report your card Lost or Stolen. Our office can also offer you a temporary card good for up to a week, allowing you to continue to use your Triton Cash account. Please bring a photo id to the Triton Card Accounts Services office to get a temporary card.
Q: How do I replace my UC San Diego Campus ID Card?

Q: What payment methods can I use to make a deposit into my Triton Cash account?
Triton Cash deposits can be made with cash, check, Visa and MasterCard.
Q: How do I add money to my Triton Cash account?
Deposits can be made through the Online Card Office with your Visa or Mastercard; over the phone at 858.534.7587; or in person at the office with cash, check, or credit card.
Q: Can I buy Dining Dollars with Triton Cash?
Not at this time. Sorry.
Q: Can I use my Triton Cash account to pay my student account?
Not at this time. Sorry.
Q: How can I close my Triton Cash account?
Students can close Triton Cash accounts when they graduate or if they withdraw from the campus. A credit card refund can be given if the student comes into the office. Otherwise, a refund check may be issued. Please contact the Triton Card Accounts Office to close your account.
Q: How can I have my Triton Cash balance refunded to me?
Students may request a refund once they have graduated or withdrawn from the University. To request a refund, please contact our office.
Q: Can I withdraw funds from my Triton Cash Account?
Sorry, not at this time. The only way to withdraw funds is to close your account once you have graduated or withdrawn from the University.
Q: Do Triton Cash deposits count as a cash advance on a credit card?
Triton Cash deposits made with a credit card count as a purchase, not a cash advance.
Q: What do I do if I was overcharged?
All Triton Cash vendors are set up to make refunds. It is recommended that you show a copy of your transaction history showing the overcharge to the store manager. Your transaction history is available on the Online Card Office, or you may request a printout at the Triton Card Accounts Services office.
Q: How do I dispute a charge on my account?
All disputes will need to be handled by the location where the purchase was made. It is recommended that you show a copy of your transaction history showing the disputed charges to the store manager. Your transaction history is available on the Online Card Office, or you may request a printout at the Triton Card Accounts Services office.
Q: Are there any fees for Triton Cash?
As per the Terms & Conditions, the only fee is the Inactive Maintenance Fee. This fee is only assessed on accounts that have not been used in over 12 months. To avoid this fee, please contact our office if you will not be using your Triton Cash account for more than 12 consecutive months. There is no minimum balance required, nor is there a monthly fee.
Q: How do I get <my favorite store> to accept Triton Cash?
There are two ways you can help get your favorite stores to accept Triton Cash. The first way is to talk to the manager at your favorite store and ask them to accept Triton Cash. The second way is to let us know what your favorite store is. Please email the Triton Card Accounts Services office to suggest a vendor.
