Transfer Student Housing: The Village at Torrey Pines
Welcome to The Village at Torrey Pines, the first On Campus Housing for Transfer students! The Village is a live • play • eat community of apartments and retail spaces designed especially for transfer students. This community includes a 14-story high rise building of resident apartment homes, featuring modern amenities and a sleek design aesthetic. Plus, they’re affordable, and in a great location—many even have breathtaking ocean views! To get an idea of the possibilities for how the rooms can be decorated, check out the photos showing how creative The Design Institute got in a recent partnership between HDH & DISD. The Village at Torrey Pines West opened Fall of 2009 and houses more than 1,000 transfer students. Double Room Rates for the 2009/2010 academic year (including a meal plan) range from $1270-$1395 per person per month. Got Questions? Feel free to email us: Thevillage@ucsd.edu. Congratulations to HDH and The Village transfer student housing for winning the AGC (Associated General Contractor's) Award in the Major Publicly Funded Project Category. The project beat out UC San Diego's new Music Building and the San Diego Supercomputer Center, which both received Awards of Merit.
