San Diego Landfill Makes Room for Food Waste Recycling

San Diego is facing Stage 2 Drought Restrictions!

UC San Diego has taken several steps to meet comply with the restrictions, including:

• Reducing landscape irrigation frequency
• Limiting landscape irrigation hours to the morning and evening to avoid evaporation
• Replacing spray heads with water saving rotary heads
• Reducing hours that fountains run so that we can keep them operable but limit evaporation
