La Jolla del Sol Apartments
La Jolla del Sol is a luxurious condominium-style community in a prime location just minutes from campus. All apartments are unfurnished, and we offer one-bedroom, two-bedroom/one-bath and two-bedroom/two-bath layouts. All units feature a full size washer and dryer, refrigerator, dishwasher, range and dining room ceiling fan. All apartments are pre-wired for cable and feature private patios or balconies. Second and third floor apartments have wood burning fireplaces. La Jolla del Sol is a gated community and offers assigned covered parking for residents in most apartments. Residents enjoy the use of two heated pools and adjoining spas, two lighted tennis courts and a fitness room. Doyle Community Park is just across the street, and shopping malls and grocery stores are all within walking distance. City bus and UC San Diego Shuttle service provide transportation to campus at no charge with your UC San Diego ID and free bus sticker. Pets including birds, fish, and cats are permitted (limit of 2 cats per apartment please). A Pet Addendum to the housing agreement and $250 refundable pet deposit are required for cats. Note that dogs are not permitted at La Jolla del Sol, with the exception of service dogs. Eligibilty La Jolla del Sol is a UC San Diego apartment community specifically designated for faculty, staff, fellows, and postdoctoral scholars. Residents agree to maintain their eligibility, as defined by the University of California, in the following requirements:
